Holly is hands-down the best massage therapist I have ever gone to. Her practice is very holistic and she aims to help resolve pain or discomfort at the root level. If you are looking to feel better in both the short term AND the long term, I highly recommend Holly and Somatic Wisdoms!

Holly is one of the most skilled massage therapists I have ever seen. I have sought massage as a method of healing and self-care from a variety of providers and can say without reservation, Holly is the best I have ever seen. Her intuitive sense of what areas to work on and where to focus her healing energy is phenomenal. Since moving away from Greensboro I have been unable to find anyone that can match her unique combination of skill, empathy, and masterful knowledge. In fact, I have traveled back to Greensboro on occasion in order to have her work on me and it is truly amazing how she is able to once again pinpoint where I am hurting and need some work done. She is a master of her art. - Sincerely, Joseph P. Jordan, PhD, LPC, LCAS

For me, Holly is in a class all her own, because of her ability to sense the physical and emotional states of her clients. She is be able to observe where the body needs to release and is able gently facilitate that release, with great sensitivity to the body's reflexes that resist that process.
Gosh, this is hard to explain--if you have had a massage therapist that seems to be able to sense even subtle changes in your body, then you already understand--kinesthetic communication between people is difficult to explain in words!
How about this way: there lots of known "intelligences," musical, logical, verbal, social, etc. but also bodily/kinesthetic intelligence, and Holly's bodily/kinesthetic intelligence is more developed than any massage therapist I have every worked with. Her motivation for pursuing a career in this field seems to be the genuine desire to connect to people and help people stay free from the toll that stress takes on our bodies.

Holly is an excellent massage therapist. As a chiropractic physician, I understand the importance of serving patients' needs in many capacities, i.e., performing a good history, listening to patients' concerns, conducting a thorough evaluation, having skilled hands, having a good referral network, staying up-to-date on the latest research, and ultimately, truly caring for the patient; Holly excels in all regards. If you are considering a massage therapist, do not hesitate in going to Holly Sofley.
